Midwest Construction & Development is pleased with the results of our "extreme remodel" of the previous "Runnings Store" at 740 East Sioux Avenue in Pierre. The work plan included major demolition of the existing building both interior and exterior as well as the site. We re-constructed the building for multiple tenant use and are currently fully leased. The finished commercial building includes masonry and Dryvit (EIFS) exterior finishes, and commercial aluminum framed windows and entrances. Our interior design includes construction methods to provide privacy between the tenant spaces. Most of the units are metered separately and we will include maintenance of the common area's as part of the lease. Situated in the center of Pierre's business district, the Capitol Creek Centre is within a couple blocks of the Capitol grounds and St. Mary's Hospital. It is adjacent to the Capitol Creek which has an improved walking path, making it convenient for the building occupants to use to access areas to the north and south of Sioux Avenue. Sioux Avenue is a main business artery serving the business district as well as Highways 34, 14 & 83.
